First Look at the Tear that Heals

Many have inquired as to this most intriguing story that we have been mentioning for nearly a year now. Well, we are happy to announce that it will be released this year! Mid February, there will be a movie of the tale on youtube and on this website to promote the publication.

The Healing Tear is the story of a teardrop that has lost its face in the world. The tale deals with longing, change and the search for understanding. Although it is not a sad story, you may develop some happy tears.

The Easter season has arrived and this year with a flourish of good weather! It truly is appropriate to celebrate this holiday in the spring. In the inspiration of this time of year, we are delighted to announce a fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

When you buy any book from this website, we will contribute a third of the profits directly to the JDRF!!! This foundation is in need of your help. Everyday, people of all ages are diagnosed with diabetes and thousands more go undiagnosed. By buying these books, you will not only get incredibly high quality books, but you will be helping us get one step closer to curing diabetes.

This fundraiser lasts until the end of April, although efforts to help the JDRF will be ongoing thereafter. So please, pass along this website, buy some great books, and let’s raise diabetes funding to an amount that can really push progress.

Remember, “It is better to give than to receive”, but now you have the ability to do both.

A Show of Thanks

The Southern Christmas Show is an annual tradition, which even in these hard economic times was celebrated cheerfully this year. This was Sleep Tight Tonight’s first appearance at the show, but it was a great chance to introduce our works of children’s literature. It was a pleasure to meet each of you who stopped by the booth. I would like to thank you for the conversations we had and a special thanks to those who supported Sleep Tight Tonight with the purchase of our products!

Many of you were excited to hear about our next book, The Healing Tear. It is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year, although after Christmas. We are especially excited about this project, as we hope you will check back in to read the story online. Many of you were surprised that we offer our new books to be read online, which no other publisher to my knowledge allows you to do. We are not hiding anything! Our books are quality made, from the writing to the illustrations. And we print the books in North Carolina, so there is no compromise on the physical manufacturing of the books. A Restaurant full of Personality

Sleep Tight Tonight’s third publication, Restaurant Personality, serves a hearty dose of creativity to its readers. A plump chef and a stiff maitre de will escort you through the pages of this book like a menu for life’s emotions. They lead a group of children who have come to dine, although there are many more choices than the kids thought that they would find. The chef and maitre de keep the children entertained, by delivering the specials of the night (or day). At this restaurant though, they only serve personality traits, so instead of choosing food to eat, they must choose who they’ll be! The chef and maitre de have no need to describe what goes into a dish, like at a traditional restaurant, but rather what each child would get out of each. As it turns out, the only specials in the restaurant are each guest in attendance.
